Brave New Coin’s Indices Referenced by INX in First IPO Filing with US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)

Brave New Coin (BNC), a leading provider of high-value cryptocurrency market data, today announced that INX, the crypto trading platform, will utilise BNC’s cryptocurrency indices in the first security token sale registered with the US SEC. BNC’s Bitcoin Liquid Index (BLX) and Ethereum Liquid Index (ELX) will serve as reference for applicable conversion rates between US Dollars and named cryptocurrencies, with respect to BTC/USD and ETH/USD exchange rates.

With a mission to bring cryptocurrency and security token offerings to the institutional arena, INX aims to offer a fully-licensed and regulated cryptocurrency, security token and derivatives trading platform. Led by Alan Silbert and an experienced team of business, finance and technology veterans, INX is a clear leader in the regulated security token platform space. INX announced in January 2018 its submission of a confidentially-filed draft registration statement to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for an initial public offering of the INX Token.

Commenting on the announcement, Fran Strajnar, CEO and Founder of Brave New Coin said: “To see high-stake industry developments, like INX’s highly anticipated security token sale, starting to demand quality and independent 3rd party reference rates is a true sign of market maturation. Having conducted due diligence on all ETF and registered security token sales to date, we have identified that a common concern by regulators is poorly constructed benchmark pricing, resulting in a qualitative risk to investors. The INX team and value proposition is highly impressive and we are pleased to be supporting Alan and his team through this process.”

The trusted provider of indices and market data to the world via NASDAQ, Amazon Alexa, TPICAP, Refinitiv, as well as a number of other leading vendors, Brave New Coin’s comprehensive suite of market news, insights and analysis are also now available on Dow Jones’ Factiva.
