BPCE International Ho Chi Minh City Branch is enacting the Sopra Banking Amplitude solution
BPCE International HCMC Branch has chosen to implement the Sopra Banking Amplitude solution, as part of its program to standardise IT systems used by BPCE Group’s international subsidiaries.
BPCE International Ho Chi Minh Branch is currently undertaking a significant project to transform its IT system with Sopra Banking Software, a banking solutions provider and trusted partner of over 600 banks in 70 countries.
BPCE International, which is responsible for the Group’s retail banking activity, has chosen the integrated core banking solution, Sopra Banking Amplitude, for its international subsidiaries. Five of the Group’s subsidiaries have already chosen the Sopra Banking Amplitude solution: BICEC in Cameroon; BCI in the Republic of the Congo, BMOI in Madagascar, BTK in Tunisia and the Banque des Mascareignes in Mauritius, and Natixis in Algeria. By combining banking production functionalities with digital multi-channel distribution functions, and broad business coverage, Sopra Banking Amplitude is the choice solution for an integrated core banking system.
In view of its project to bring together all of its current subsidiaries on this banking platform, BPCE, launched its project to migrate from its existing system to Sopra Banking Amplitude, on 29th February. The work, which is currently being launched in Ho Chi Minh City, should be completed over the next 10 months.
This new project with BPCE international is a sign of BPCE Group’s trust in Sopra Banking software to support them with their international development, and it is also the first time that Amplitude has been implemented in Vietnam.
The project’s launch follows the transfer of the BPCE Group’s banking activities in Vietnam from Natixis to BPCE International, which thus enables the Group to offer its services to small and medium enterprises on the Vietnamese market, via the BPCE international retail banking network. Philippe Garsuault, Chief Executive Officer of BPCE International, commented ‘Integrating the Vietnamese subsidiary into BPCE strengthens our retail banking network in a strategic country. Vietnam, which is the third most populated country in Southeast Asia, has one of the fastest economic growth rates in the region. Vietnam is increasingly opening itself up to Africa, where we can count on our banks’ presence to position ourselves on in this business.’
