Bought By Many named fastest growing private insurtech company in the UK
Bought By Many, one of Europe’s leading insurtech companies, has been named as the fastest growing private insurtech company in the UK, after ranking 13th in the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 list.
The list, which will be published in this weekend’s Sunday Times (9th September), ranks Britain’s top 100 private technology, media and telecoms companies with the fastest-growing sales. Technology companies on the list are defined by showing a commitment to innovation, research and product development.
Bought By Many uses millions of lines of insurance search data to design unique policies and offers them to groups of people with specific needs on a proprietary platform.
The company appeared on the Tech Track ‘Ones to Watch’ list in 2017. Alumni of the Tech Track list, that have gone on to huge success, include companies like Just Eat, Zoopla and Funding Circle.
The accolade comes following a recent string of achievements for the company, which include securing a £15m series B funding round in July 2018; launching in Sweden and recording £20m of premium income in the financial year ending 31 March 2018, double its gross written premium from the previous year.
Steven Mendel, CEO of Bought By Many, comments: “The last year has been hugely successful for Bought By Many – we hit the milestone of half a million members and secured a new round of investment. To be included on this list alongside some of the most innovative businesses in the country is another proud moment for us and recognition of the hard work of all our team. We’re committed to growing our revenue and member numbers by offering better insurance for everyone.”
