Bitstamp’s Shadman Salem Discusses The Critical Nature Of Education In Crypto
In a recent video interview, FF News spoke with Shadman Salem, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Bitstamp, about the importance of education in cryptocurrencies as the uptake in crypto investing grows.
“I absolutely think crypto needs to be part of the curriculum at an early level for individuals, but also general finance so people know how to, how money works and how institutions that handle money work.”
“Crypto is a mix of the traditional financial system with cryptography technology, which then enables you to transact in a trustless way without the need for intermediaries. In my view, [it’s] the next evolution of how finance will evolve, whether that’s through decentralized parties who issue their own tokens or whether it’s through central institutions that issue digital tokens.”
