Airsorted completes Seedrs funding round in preparation for Series B

Host management service Airsorted has closed a £1.26m equity crowdfunding campaign from over 1,000 investors on leading investment platform Seedrs.

The Company’s 4,246 strong host base, alongside their existing 1,200 crowd investors, scrambled to invest in the round during its short campaign of just four weeks, in total attracting 1,078 investors. Airsorted has committed to using the funds raised from the crowd to expand the team in all areas.

This is Airsorted’s second investment round on Seedrs, having previously raised over £7m in investment on the platform. This fundraise takes its overall number of individual crowd investors to 2,195.

Airsorted is a hassle-free hosting platform that services guest bookings from popular travel websites including Airbnb, Expedia, Booking.com and HomeAway. It provides a 360-degree service that looks after the management of host properties to make the experience seamless for both hosts and their guests. Services include listing creation with professional photography, maintenance and laundry, and restocking of household items as well as 24/7 guest support.

Established in 2015 by Founder and CEO James Jenkins-Yates, London-headquartered Airsorted has become the world’s largest short-term rental management platform operating in 22 cities from Bristol to Brisbane, across 14 countries. In the last year alone, Airsorted has expanded into 12 of new cities, including Tel Aviv and Toronto. The platform has already earned over £62 million in revenue for its hosts and currently employs over 180 employees globally.
