Pave Finance Secures $15M Series A to Scale AI-Powered Wealth Management Platform
By Lauren Towner · 14 September 2026

AI-powered portfolio management platform Pave Finance has secured over $15 million in an oversubscribed Series A funding round, valuing the firm at $100 million. For fintech professionals, this capital injection highlights the accelerating shift toward automated, personalized wealth management as Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) seek to scale complex client portfolios without increasing manual operational burdens.
What was announced
Pave Finance has closed an oversubscribed Series A funding round, raising more than $15 million and reaching a pre-money valuation of $100 million. This follows a $14 million seed round completed in September 2025. The new capital is earmarked for team expansion, specifically targeting internal engineering and market-facing functions to support the scaling of its technology within the wealth management sector. The investment group includes a mix of advisory firms, company insiders, and former executive officers and board members from prominent U.S. financial services institutions.
The platform is designed to alleviate the manual processes that currently constrain financial advisors. By utilizing AI, Pave allows RIAs and wealth management firms to build and manage personalized portfolios at scale. Currently, advisors using the platform oversee more than $130 billion in assets across 300,000 individual accounts. This growth comes amid projections that the global wealth management market will reach $217.44 trillion in assets under management by 2031.
Technically, the platform tracks over 50,000 publicly traded securities globally. This enables advisors to manage multi-asset and equity portfolios with granular control, including the ability to exclude specific sectors or assets, account for tax considerations, and optimize for individual risk tolerances. The system is built to integrate with custodians to facilitate rapid onboarding for new client accounts.
"Reaching this funding stage reflects the growing demand for modernized platforms we're witnessing within the financial advisory space. As advisory businesses grow, firms must now find efficient ways to manage a larger volume of clients who are simultaneously demanding greater personalization in their portfolios. This funding gives us additional resources to grow our team and continue investing in the technology that saves advisors time and resources, ultimately translating to lower fees and more tailored client experiences."
Christopher Ainsworth, Chief Executive Officer at Pave Finance.
The companies involved
Pave Finance is a New York-based fintech company providing an AI-powered portfolio management platform specifically for the wealth management industry. The firm positions itself as a solution for RIAs who need to balance the increasing demand for hyper-personalized investment strategies with the operational necessity of managing a growing volume of accounts. By automating the construction and maintenance of multi-asset portfolios, the company aims to reduce the time and cost burdens typically associated with high-touch advisory services.
The firm’s competitive edge is rooted in a leadership team that brings together over 200 years of collective experience from both the traditional financial sector and the big-tech landscape. On the financial side, the team includes veterans from institutional giants such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan, and Fidelity, as well as various hedge funds. This is complemented by technical expertise from former employees of Google, Apple, Meta, and Amazon, alongside fintech experience from Wealthfront, DriveWealth, and E-Trade. This blend of institutional-grade financial knowledge and modern software engineering is central to Pave's market position.
What FF News has reported before
FF News has closely tracked Pave Finance’s rapid ascent since its market entry. In September 2025, we covered the company’s initial oversubscribed seed financing round, which raised $14 million to launch its institutional-grade software. Following that capital raise, the firm focused on deep custodial integrations to broaden its reach. In October 2025, FF News reported as Pave Finance integrated with Charles Schwab, a move designed to empower RIAs with automated tools. This was followed in early 2026 by a similar milestone when Pave Finance integrated with Fidelity. These strategic partnerships have been instrumental in allowing the platform to scale to its current level of asset oversight.
What this means
This Series A round signals a maturing of the "AI-in-wealth" narrative, moving from experimental tools to core infrastructure. The $100 million valuation for a company managing $130 billion in platform assets suggests that investors see massive upside in the "middle office" of wealth management. Traditional TAMPs (Turnkey Asset Management Programs) and legacy portfolio management suites are under significant pressure to modernize or risk losing RIAs to more agile, AI-driven alternatives. The industry faces a critical question: as personalization becomes automated and commoditized, how will human advisors differentiate their value proposition? This capital infusion ensures that the technological arms race in wealth management will only accelerate.
