We spoke to Roque Martinez, CTO at SmartStream RDU, to find out what he thinks are some of the most exciting use cases for AI in his field. In the world of expense management and customer fees there’s a lot of potential.

The ability to read and understand documents, and then extract the relevant data without needing a human to communicate means a lot of time is saved. This fast onboarding process results in cost savings being passed on and repeat business.

“That’s important because we can onboard those schedules much faster and get those savings to the customer which can be passed onto their customers. They’re paying less fees because they are doing more transactions.”
