FF News spoke to Martin Herlinghaus, Director of Corporate Development at Aevi, to inquire about his views on the future of the finance industry.

Aevi is a company that offers innovative payment solutions, empowering businesses with secure and seamless transaction experiences for their customers.

“Payments themselves, they take a back step to a certain degree because it’s ultimately the wallet with which you’re paying. You can see with Apple, nowadays you can integrate your credit card into Apple Pay … They become integrated as the payments feed into this wallet.”

“ISVs were the first to understand the power of payments data and data to deliver service towards SMEs. They were also there to save the day when covid hit. It’s an evolutionary journey for them. They start as a business partner, enabling a certain piece of software. Now, they can venture more into the overall payment space and monetise their payment journey.”
