Simon Hammerschmidt, Global Head of Strategic Partnerships at Mambu talks to FF News about the benefits that come with offering a BNPL platform.
“The consulting firms that we’re talking to fit into different brackets. You’ve got the traditional advisory firms, the strategy houses who are giving pure advice. Then you’ve got the larger systems integrators and management consulting firms who are looking to do and generate revenues on the back of some of those change programmes.”
“Then you’ve got the tech firms and they’re all about offering the banks advice about what they need to be doing to effectively keep up with the fintechs that have disrupted the market and are now producing products and services that really the banks are being left behind from. So, clearly, Buy-Now-Pay-Later is a revenue stream that is taking money away from traditional banks, and we’re seeing huge growth in that area of the market ”
