On the ground at Fintech Meetup 2023, the FF News team caught up with Keren Moynihan the CEO of Boss Insights. Boss Insights is a single API, offering connections to leading accounting, banking, commerce, payroll and tax services around the world.

“I’m a former commercial banker myself, I was working at a number 1 bank in Canada. Actually, we served basically the US market and a little bit of the Canadian and UK markets. When I was a business banker, everything was done by putting people first, not the bankers. So we would go and we would ask businesses what they want and then we would make them send us documentation and we would calculate it. The whole process when you do it manually can take weeks or months.”

“I know people who have been waiting for 6 months to get responses about their loans or payment solutions and business owners don’t have that time. This was when technology really started to infiltrate the banking industry. So, we teamed up with somebody who was ex-Amazon who said you can apply a technical layer to this industry. You can just handle the science and let the people handle the art of the relationship.
