Over in Vienna for the Temenos Community Forum 2023, the FF News team caught up with Jim Corra: Global Business Development Executive at IBM. IBM is one of the world’s largest & longest-running technology companies, with operations present in over 175 countries around the world. IBM is also the largest industrial research organization in the world, with 19 research facilities across the globe.

“There are a lot of people who are excited to go to cloud, but there’s a journey to get there and there’s gonna be a period where there’s gonna be a hybrid cloud and there’s a lot of banks and financial institutions that don’t have the position to go to cloud for a variety of reasons.”

“IBM can help them with an on-prem hybrid cloud model. We’re partnering with IBM Consulting to deliver a total solution across those clients and we’re really excited about that. It’s a combination of Red Hat, IBM Power and IBM consulting and we come to you with a complete solution that could either be decomposed or delivered as a package.”
