Over at Fintech Meetup 2023, we sat down for a conversation with Sunil Madhu the Founder and CEO of Instnt. Businesses of all sizes use Instnt to increase the number of good customer sign-ups and new accounts that remain compliant and fraud-free.
“Traditionally, most businesses struggle with signing up and accepting and onboarding customers. Most businesses spend a lot of money to bring customers to the doorstep and they tell about 60% of them to bugger off somewhere else, simply because the people are young and the businesses risk compliance systems are unable to verify them.”
“So the businesses lost their top-line revenue opportunity, and at the same time, they’re trying to fight fraud. As they try to keep bad people out, they end up holding on to a lot of balance sheet loss risk. So, our job is to help move that loss risk off their balance sheet and help them improve the outcomes of signing up more good customers.”
