“When we think about integration, we often think about the hands-on keyboard work it takes to actually build integrations and have systems talk to each other. In actual fact, that’s pretty straightforward. When it comes to the pain of integration there are three fundamental concepts, one of which is a people dependency.”
“So, if you’re a source application and I want to integrate with the data that you have. I don’t know where your data is stored. I don’t know what data you have. I don’t know if there’s APIs and I don’t know if those APIs work. So now you become vital to my project and you have to come on the critical path of my project.
