At the MoneyLIVE Summit 2023 in London, the FF News team caught up with Mark Matthews, the VP for UK & Ireland at Daon. Daon is a digital identity company and an industry leader in next-gen identity proofing, biometric authentication and digital onboarding.

“We’re trying to make customer experiences as seamless and easy as possible. So we provide our Identity X platform that provides a multi-channel experience. So our customers can onboard through web, through the mobile channel and they can actually do it in person. We have customers who we work with in the financial services market that they can onboard in-branch if they want as well.”

“It’s predominantly KYC, that’s our focus. I mean, as a customer we tend to do customer authentication, customer onboarding and customer verification. So our focus is the customer, but we do have clients where we do some focus on the business side as well.”
