Fernando Cea is the Vice President of Technology for Globant in the Middle East and APAC regions. He has more than 15 years of experience leading technology innovation and AI transformation. Fernando is leading the charge for Globant’s AI strategy and AI teams, helping to change the software development paradigm with their AI-per-programming, using large language models (LLMs), and making use of autonomous agents to accelerate the modernization of legacy, improve workflows, and enhance cyber security, quality assurance, and product life cycles.
Globant has made agentic AI a central theme of their work and integrated advanced platforms powered by AI to build scalable, consistent and future-proof enterprise solutions. Fernando is a product-first thinker, so innovation is always tied to solving actual business issues—quickly and affordably.
Fernando is an advocate for flat team structures and autonomous teams to foster a culture of innovation, responsibility, and continuous learning. He encourages us to evolve and stay on top of rapid changes in AI, endorse team collaboration and social, and stay vendor agnostic.
Fernando Cea is building AI solutions, but more importantly, with deep regional context and enthusiasm for emerging technology, he is shaping the future of how enterprises in the Middle East and APAC will adopt AI-powered digital.
