IFGS 2025: Described in Three Words? Here’s What Attendees Said

There is something uniquely energising about IFGS – and this year’s event was no different. We asked attendees to distill their IFGS experience in three words and the responses provided a colourful insight into the people, connections and terrific experiences that the event affords.

With responses ranging from “exciting and potential” to “walking, meeting, eating,” we got to see the balance between discovery and hustle that is part of the IFGS experience. Some called it “busy, connected, exciting.” Many found energy in the sessions and the impromptu sidewalk conversations.

The tone of the event was, undeniably, high-energy. Some participants described their time as “inspiring, energetic, amazing,” while others role-modelled the always-busy London commute, saying it was “rushed, buzzing and amazing.” And, as if the hectic schedule wasn’t enough, the setting also provided opportunity to enjoy the sunshine, with one participant saying their time was “impressive, historical, sunny.”

In any case, no matter the combination of words, one thing was clear: IFGS keeps bringing together the individuals in fintech to share ideas, create connections, and continue to help shape the industry.
