“If you could redefine IFGS as a brand-new acronym, what would it stand for?”

One attendee reimagined IFGS as International Fintech Is Getting Serious, highlighting how rapidly the industry has matured and entered the big leagues and another participant offered Inspiring Founders to Grow and Scale, capturing the spirit of mutual support and shared ambition among startups. A fan of brevity suggested In For Good Stuff, reflecting the value-driven mindset that draws so many people here.
Someone confessed they fancy I Fancy Growth Stories, pointing to the excitement generated by every success story on display while a group of founders coined International Fun Global Summit to remind everyone that building the future of finance can—and should—be enjoyable.
For a touch of flair, one attendee proposed International Financial Great Superstars, emphasizing the bright talents scattered across this ecosystem. Another creative mind went with Invigorating, Fun, Galvanising, Sexy, seeing IFGS as more than an event—an energy-filled vibe in itself.
There was also the playful In For Good Sways, underscoring fintech’s power to move markets and minds alike. Finally, someone captured the community spirit perfectly with Inspiring, Great, Fun and Social, summing up the atmosphere on these floors.
Whether it’s a nod to fintech’s newfound maturity, a rallying call for founders, or just a tongue-in-cheek reminder to enjoy the ride, one thing is clear: IFGS means something different for everyone, but it always comes back to community, energy, and innovation. At the end of the day, you don’t need a crystal‐clear definition—IFGS is what you make of it. So pick your favorite, use it as your icebreaker, and remember: no matter how you spell it, IFGS is where the future of finance finds its spark.
