At Singapore Fintech Festival we spoke to Mike Dickinson from Brankas, a banking infrastructure company who are taking advantage of Open Banking in Europe and abroad. He lets us know what it’s like trying to access this kind of technology in South East Asia and what commercial opportunities are available.
There’s talk about their work with payment gateways and other fintechs as well as the possibilities opening up as a result of modular core banking. It certainly presents some exciting prospects for consumers and banks in countries like Indonesia.
