At the Paris Fintech Forum Leaders Summit 2023, we caught up with Martin Heraghty, Regional Director of Paymentology. Paymentology utilises cloud-based infrastructure and industry-leading APIs to enable banks and fintechs to issue and process cards anywhere in the world.

“We’re very much into the card issuing space and what we’re seeing there is, I’m old enough to remember when it was only banks that issued cards, now we’re seeing everyone wants to issue all kinds of different cards.”

“Now, we’re seeing everyone wants to issue all kinds of different cards, and people are looking for innovation in that area as well. It’s no longer good enough to just issue a debit card or just issued a credit card. People want multi-function cards. Peoples have all kinds of weird and wonderful use cases as well. Where it’s not just consumers, but B2B. We’re seeing a lot of innovation in that area.”
