Shawn Curtis from Spreedly talks payments orchestration and PPRO at Money 20/20

During the Money20/20 Europe event at the RAI in Amsterdam, FF News spoke to Shawn Curtis from Spreedly.

They’re a payments orchestration platform creating a one-to-many connection to payment service providers. It’s all about connecting merchants and other platforms to the wide variety of payment methods that are popping up around the world.

Shawn talks about some of the ‘alternative payment methods’ he most admires including Pix in Brazil and Twint in Switzerland. Spreedly have worked on projects involving restaurant tech companies and Venmo in the US and he also praises the partnership they have with PPRO which has turbocharged their service by giving their customers greater access to the payments ecosystem.

“The most powerful payment methods are the ones that meet people in the context or the geography that they’re in.”

“What the PPRO partnership saves us from is choosing. No one company can integrate with all payment service providers. It takes partnerships to achieve a greater breadth of coverage. You can’t do it alone.”
