Over in Amsterdam for Money20/20 Europe 2023, we caught up with Peter Theunis, SVP for Europe at BPC. BPC enable real-life transactions with a banking, payments & commerce platform that operates in more than 100 countries around the world.

“First of all, business as always is seven-eight year cycles. Let’s say the cycle goes now still a little bit down, but people start to search for creative solutions. So, it’s quite likely that next year we will see the business grow again.”

“I think first of all, where do we go in payments? I think you cannot underestimate that account-to-account payments with the whole thing about ECB where they say banks need to send and receive instant payment transactions within a certain time, that will impact our market considerably.”
