At Money20/20 Europe, FF News spoke with Kirsteen Harrison, Advisor to the Board – Environment and Sustainability at Zumo, to delve into topics surrounding environmental concerns within the industry.

Zumo offers a comprehensive digital currency solution, enabling individuals to effortlessly engage in cryptocurrency activities such as purchasing, storing, and utilising various digital assets. With a focus on security and user-friendly interfaces, Zumo empowers users to effectively manage their crypto portfolios and conduct seamless transactions.

“My role at Zumo focuses on crypto decarbonisation. We’ve done a lot of work in Zumo on our own net zero journey and we’ve been working with clients recently to provide that as part of the service that we provide to them in terms of crypto offering.”

“We know how to move to renewables. We know that the more renewables we use, the cheaper it becomes to install them for everybody else as well, and we know that there are much harder sectors to decarbonise … So arguably, sectors that can decarbonise faster need to, and that’s what we’re trying to do at Zumo.”
