We spoke to Haytham Kaddoura, CEO of SmartStream at Money20/20 Europe in Amsterdam about institutions managing risk and ensuring they have a strong foundation in the wake of some major failures.

SmartStream builds a range of technologies to help banks and FI’s with risk management and regulatory alignment, whilst driving cost efficiency and aiding mission-critical functions. Haytham spoke about how solutions such as their new product, Air, allow organisations to be more reactive to market conditions and how they’re using AI to accurately analyse and validate large amounts of data.

“Institutions need to be super-efficient in how their assets are deployed and this is where AI plays a phenomenal role.”

“The drive towards processing ever-increasing amounts of data, has always been a priority in the last two years, but now it’s moving significantly higher. It’s quantum leaps as opposed to a natural growth.”
