At Money20/20 Europe 2023 in Amsterdam, we caught up with Guillaume Leclerc, Senior Presales Consultant at HPS. HPS is one of the world’s leading global cards and payments technology companies, with over 450 clients in 90 countries providing them with cutting-edge payment technology.

“If we talk about this coming year, I think we’ll see more payments coming from new communications channels like the Metaverse for example. We’ll see an increase in payments here. We’ll also see an increase of payments on digital wallets and what I would call the non-card rails, account-to-account but not to the detriment of cards rather to the detriment of cash.”

“Our platform is really able to process payment from different channels. That’s something we already do via APIs, so maximum flexibility. For everything which is non-card, we have a wallet offering and a number of things account-to-account.”
