Over in Manhattan, New York, at the Javits Center for the InsurTech Insights USA event, FF News caught up with Barbara Stacer, Chief Insurance Officer at weSure, to gain insights into the company’s activities and her contributions within the industry.

weSure specialises in delivering cutting-edge insurance solutions, leveraging advanced technology to elevate customer experience and streamline the insurance journey.

“In the decision to move and go live in our first state in the US and choosing Ohio, we did a lot of research and looked into the market, looked into the profitability and the results in the insurance space, particularly the commercial insurance space. We worked with a number of vendors and consultants to come to that decision, but ultimately, Ohio is a very favourable state to work in. From an insurance perspective, it performs well.”

“I’ve been in insurance for about the last 20 years, and I really enjoy it. I trained underwriter, I love that you never see the same risk twice. I think that it’s a very exciting space to be in, it’s a space where technology is always emerging.”
