At Fintech Meetup 2023, we caught up with Christopher Cox, the Chief Operating Officer for Apiture Inc. Apiture’s mission is to empower financial institutions to know and serve their clients with the care of a traditional community institution at the scale, speed and efficiency that is required in the modern world.

“Digital banking in our market, as you know, is not new. So, depending on who’s counting there was something like 8,000 banks and credit unions in the US. Every single one of them has a digital banking solution and has probably had one for a while. What’s happening in our industry, is financial institutions are feeling a lot of pressure to have better digital experiences for their customers.”

“That’s because consumer expectations continue to evolve around digital engagement with really all businesses including financial institutions. It’s because financial institutions are feeling a lot of competitive pressure from fintechs and really great solutions. So, there’s a new push to make sure as it relates to digital engagement, that credit union members and community bank customers have really good digital engagement solutions.”
