At Insurtech Insights 2024, Brune de Linares from Akur8 talked about some updates after their recent fundraising. This new cash will help them speed up development in different parts of their platform.
Linares said that Akur8 plans to bring in more people—especially developers, data scientists, and other tech experts—to help get new features out faster. They’re continuing to work on both their pricing platform and their reserving product. The aim is to give the ARIES team what they need to build and grow their product.
Besides beefing up their development team, the company is also looking to expand their customer support. Linares mentioned they’ll be hiring more salespeople, actuaries, and customer success staff to assist current clients and attract new ones.
Overall, this funding is a big step for Akur8 as they invest in their tech and team, hoping to provide even more value to their customers in the coming months.
