OCR Studio to Showcase Web ID Scanner and Launch New Product at Money20/20 Middle East
OCR Studio, a developer of optical character recognition solutions, is proud to announce its participation in Money20/20 Middle East, one of the region’s most influential events for the financial technology and digital innovation industry. Taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from September 15-17, 2025, Money20/20 Middle East will bring together industry leaders, innovators, and decision-makers from across banking, payments, fintech, and beyond. OCR Studio will join the global conversation, showcasing its solutions for ID scanning and document automation.
In Riyadh, OCR Studio will present its advanced suite of OCR technologies, purpose-built for fast and accurate scanning and data extraction from ID cards, passports, driver’s licenses, payment cards, barcodes, and more. The company’s software is optimized for real-time performance and supports over 100 languages, including Latin-based scripts, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi, etc. OCR Studio’s solutions process data locally – without transmitting images to third parties – in compliance with strict requirements in regulated industries such as banking, insurance, travel, and e-commerce. The company’s participation in Money20/20 Middle East reflects its commitment to driving digital transformation across financial services and identity tech.
At the event, OCR Studio will also showcase its recently released browser-based ID scanner, designed to prevent spoofing attacks during the verification process in web environments. The new solution enables secure online onboarding in the browser via selfie ID verification. The technology works by checking face liveness and comparing a live selfie with an image from an ID, confirming the presence of a live person. Previously, the company adapted its software products for IDs, payment cards and barcodes scanning to the web using WebAssembly (WASM) technology.
In addition to its core products, OCR Studio will unveil a new solution aimed at addressing the growing demand for high-performance, privacy-centric document processing directly in users’ browsers. With the new innovation, enterprise customers will be able to maximize their capabilities by delivering smooth and responsive web services.
As regulatory and customer expectations around identity verification continue to rise, OCR Studio’s mission is to empower enterprises with reliable, scalable, and intelligent document recognition tools. By participating in Money20/20 Middle East, the company reaffirms its commitment to driving the next generation of digital identity infrastructure in the region and beyond.
OCR Studio’s presence at Money20/20 Middle East underscores its role as a pioneer in secure, seamless, and future-ready identity verification solutions. Visitors and partners are invited to connect with the OCR Studio team at the exhibition to explore collaboration opportunities and experience live demonstrations of the technology in action.
