Innovation Celebrated as Winners of Open Banking Expo Awards 2025 Revealed
The Open Banking Expo Awards 2025 have unveiled this year’s winners – a celebration of the organisations and individuals driving excellence across Open Banking, Open Finance and payments.
Now in its fourth year, the Awards once again took centre stage at the end of day one of Open Banking Expo UK & Europe, held at London’s Business Design Centre. The event recognises outstanding contributions across 17 categories, from emerging talent to game-changing partnerships and pioneering product design.
Among the winners this year were:
- D•One by ClearScore, which took home the Best Team Award
- Ozone API, named Best Regulatory Open Banking Initiative
- Acquired.com, winner of Best Customer Experience
- MoneySuite, which picked up Best Open Banking Payments Project – Commercial
- Rosheen Fischer of TrueLayer, named Woman of the Year in the Women in Open Banking category
- Ralph Bragg, founder of Raidiam, received the prestigious Ted Sidgwick Pioneer Award
The 2025 cohort of winners also includes impactful fintech collaborations, new market entrants, and socially focused initiatives, with Fumopay and Big Issue winning Open Banking for Good, and Raidiam & obconnect securing Best Anti-Fraud Solution.
Kelly Stanley, co-founder and director of Open Banking Expo, said: “Each year, the awards shine a light on the progress being made across the ecosystem – and this year’s winners demonstrate just how far the sector has come. From regulatory alignment and payments innovation, to inclusive design and social impact, these winners are not only innovating – they’re setting new benchmarks for what’s possible in Open Banking and Open Finance.”
The awards were judged by an expert panel of over 30 industry leaders, with categories spanning Open Banking Payments, data and security, partnerships and diversity.
