Thomas Vles is a versatile entrepreneur with a passion for growing companies, building teams, and innovating products.
In 2013, Thomas Vles founded his first company, Poopy Cat, and grew its operations to 18 countries. The startup received widespread praise, with features in Oprah Winfrey's magazine "O", Italian Vogue, CNN, and BBC. After selling Poopy Cat to the market leader in 2017, Thomas Vles started BlueBottle Ventures to invest his earnings back in startups. He founded multiple companies and non-profit foundations in the years after, ranging from music festivals to apps, including wedoido (failed) and mycapa.city (sold).
In 2021, Thomas Vles took over as CEO of Tellow, turning a flatlining ex-corporate venture from Rabobank into a hypergrowth company. By 2023, Tellow was integrated into Ageras, the acquirer of Tellow. At Ageras he served as Chief Revenue Officer, heading the operation and integration of all portfolio companies across Europe and the USA.
In May 2024 his entrepreneurial spirit prevailed, and Thomas Vles left his role at Ageras to start an innovative banking venture: GoDutch. With GoDutch, he’s aiming to transform the financial landscape and redefine the meaning of ‘fair banking’. They provide full transparency, share earnings with people and planet, while operating climate and socially positive.
