About Thibault Gobert

Thibault spent 23 years in the investment banking industry, capital markets: Citigroup, Société Générale, and BNP Paribas where, as Managing Director, he was head of European desks for securitized derivatives (7 countries). With a team of 30+ front-office experienced direct-report staff, and after the transfer of RBS franchise (2014/2015), he established BNP Paribas as the European leader in this industry. Thibault was the founder and chairman of the French trade-lobby association for retail structured products, and board member of the European EUSIPA in Brussels (each of these two mandates during 8 years). This was including meetings with ESMA and European Commission (technical working group, and open hearing). After a short stay of 3 years at Euwax/Cats, Thibault is now Head of Liquidity Pool (sell-side coverage, issuers, market-makers, and hedging purpose for ETDs, SRPs, ETPs, ETCs and ETFs) for Spectrum Markets MTF, aiming at becoming the leading cross-boarder MTF on these products. Spectrum is now reaching 1 billion structured securities traded since launch (Q4 19), 2 million+ transactions a year, and already competes with major trading venues in each of the 9 countries where it operates
