About Sunil Sachdev

Sunil Sachdev is a global fintech executive with a significant breadth of experience in banking, acquiring, DeFi and payments at companies such as American Express, Meed, Pershing and Fiserv. In his current role, Sunil leads Embedded Finance at Fiserv, working horizontally across Fiserv to bring the full power of the firm’s banking, merchant acquiring and issuing businesses to Fiserv clients—including financial institutions, ISVs, merchants and fintechs. Sunil has been with Fiserv for nearly a decade, leading strategic initiatives across various leadership roles and geographies, including leading the U.S. Community Bank segment; his work to build out self-service, low-code services and extend dual-core and banking-as-a-service capabilities; and leading the Fiserv payments business in international markets when Fiserv partnered with SWIFT to launch real-time payments in Australia. Since 2021, Sunil has headed up the fintech segment, leading a team that has greatly accelerated the planning, execution and delivery of open finance and digital transformation capabilities across the enterprise. Sunil Sachdev has extensive experience in business development and market strategy across global regions, supported by a Master’s degree in Information Management from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Hofstra University.
