About Steffen Vollert

Steffen Vollert is the Interim CEO and co-founder of Volt. He is an accomplished business and tech leader in the payments industry, known for building disruptive fintechs. Before co-founding Volt in 2019, Steffen played key roles in shaping the growth and strategy of various fintech operators, including Bolt.com, ZEN.com, and Sentinels (now part of Fenergo). Steffen Vollert also spent several years at Adyen, where as Vice President of Global Expansion, he led the global rollout of the company’s payments system and oversaw crucial local payments network integrations. Outside of work, Steffen is a passionate test driver of vintage Porsche Diesel tractors, a hobby that reflects his love for precision and engineering, and a tamer of a fiery Chihuahua named Tequila.
