About Stefano Azzalin

As the CEO of dpixel, I lead a team of experts in analyzing technological trends, innovative ideas, and emerging technologies to identify and support entrepreneurial talents who can bring new solutions to the market. With more than 10 years of experience in this role, I have helped hundreds of startups in various sectors, such as fintech, edtech, agritech, and biotech, to grow and scale their businesses, securing preseed and seed capital investments from angel investors, venture capitalists, and corporate partners. My passion for startups and venture capital stems from my background as an engineer and a software programmer, who started coding at a young age and always enjoyed exploring the latest technologies. I also leverage my extensive network and knowledge in the banking and finance industry, where I worked for over 20 years, to design and implement open innovation initiatives, consultancy, and education programs for companies, public authorities, and institutional stakeholders. My mission is to foster a culture of innovation and digital transformation in the Italian ecosystem and beyond, creating value and impact for all the actors involved.
