About Siwan Lu

Siwan Lu is an entrepreneurial, global-minded, relationship-oriented, and result driven business leader. She is also particularly keen in creating social impact. Her purpose is to ensure companies are future-proof and contributing responsibly to society. This means leading organisation for meaningful organic/inorganic profitable growth, business-led technology/ workforce transformation at billion-dollar scale, and public-private partnership for a more equitable society. It spans over the field of business building through new distribution channel, product expansion, internationalisation, M&A, with people and P&L/ board responsibilities. In addition, she drives enterprise-level transformation, with a focus on technology, digitalisation, workforce and distribution. Recent highlight includes leading large scale e-commerce distribution agreement, build/ buy/ integrate / restructure / exit internal/external digital product / ventures across entire lifecycle with board positions, award-winning digital workforce transformation. She has extensive international experience in the US, Switzerland, Germany, Hong Kong and mainland China in the last 10 years; and speaks English, German, Mandarin and Cantonese. Swan cares about social wellness and education. She advises social enterprise to provide training to senior care organisation, chaired the Harvard China Education conference and is a board member of Harvard alumni for Women in Switzerland. She is also a certified yoga teacher where she conducts free, after-work yoga classes with her colleagues. She is a Global Young Leader from the World Economic Forum. Her long term dream is to build a primary school in rural China / globe.
