About Simon Eacott

Simon Eacott, A strategically focused leader operating at senior functional Board and Director level for a leading UK bank. Head of Payments at NatWest. He has extensive experience in the Payments Industry, with expertise in leading strategic transformation programmes, sales, operations and product management. As Head of Payments at NatWest he leads the Payments function with accountability for the delivery of Operational Service excellence and strategic change, together with product development, payment scheme management and regulatory engagement. Prior to joining RBS/NatWest in 1994, held various leadership roles in Payments and Cash Management at HSBC. Well known and respected at industry bodies, including membership of the UK Finance Payments Board, the Participants Advisory Council for Pay.UK, and the CHAPS Strategic Advisory Forum at the Bank of England. Prior to this role Simon Eacott was Head of Design and Franchise Delivery leading teams to deliver transformational change to meet alternative State Aid remedies with the European Commission and Her Majesty’s Treasury following the decision to stand down the divestment of Williams & Glyn.
