About Simon Black
Simon is an experienced CEO, now proud to be leading PPRO, one of Europe’s fastest growing payments businesses.
Previously he led Sage Pay through dramatic growth to become the UK’s leading payment gateway for SMEs. In 10 years at Sage, he also led the creation of Sage One, the leading online accounting and payroll application.
Earlier in his career he founded a marketing software start-up and held senior strategy and brand consulting roles both in the USA where he lived for six years, and in the UK.
Simon has provided expert commentary on live TV and radio for the BBC and CNN, been published widely in payments and eCommerce media, and has spoken at events such as Internet World and Money 20/20.
