About Siân Davies

An accomplished finance, audit and risk professional with over 15 years’ experience within the professional and financial services sector. As a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, I have a solid technical accounting background and have helped firms interpret and apply new and complex regulation within their specific industry. My experience to date has demonstrated my ability to master and learn new disciplines and utilise a diverse skill set to deliver results. During my most recent roles, I have transformed the approach taken internally to managing a range of operational risks, and helped the business understand and evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and design and implement proportionate enhancements to build a robust control environment. I regularly prepare and deliver Board level committee papers, presentations and training material. With excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills, I can build positive relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, and enjoy working either individually or as part of a collaborative team to ensure that positive results are achieved.
