He's also a member of the Board of Directors of CodeNotary and former member of the Board of Directors of JAMF Software (NASDAQ: JAMF) and Symplified. During his time at BMC Software, Shayne was the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Strategy and Operations and the President of the Performance and Analytics business which resulted in the successful sale to KKR from Bain and Golden Gate and a multi-billion dollar return. Before BMC, Shayne was Senior Vice President at Quest Software where he was most recently Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Virtualization and Application Performance Management (APM) Business Unit at Quest Software. Previously Shayne held the position of Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Corporate Development. Prior to that Shayne held executive positions in product marketing and product management. During the period from 2007 to 2012 while Shayne was a member of Quest Software's senior executive management team, the company’s revenue increased from $550 million to $857 million, the company’s operating margins expanded from 12% to 25% and the company’s market cap increased from $1.3 billion to $2.36 billion when Dell acquired the company. Shayne holds a B.S. Degree in Management Information Systems from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Texas where he was on a sports (baseball) and academic scholarship. Shayne served as a Cor Vitae Member for the American Heart Association.
