About Samer Soliman

Samer Soliman is a strategic leader with over 20 years of international experience across the banking and payments sector. His expertise and thought leadership spans issuing / acquiring, project management, operational control, business transformation, strategic oversight, budget management, business process re-engineering, product development, and mentoring.

Samer brings a unique blend of payments, technical, and regional expertise to his current role of CEO at Arab Financial Services (AFS). He has previously served as Network International’s Managing Director for the Group’s Middle East business, where he was responsible for the regional acquiring and issuing aspects, and for implementing a comprehensive growth strategy across the Middle East.

As part of his commitment to FinTech and developing future leaders, Samer is a Board Advisor to Sarwa digital wealth limited, a member of the advisory council of UAE-based e-commerce enabler Zbooni, and FinTech startup Jingle Pay. Samer is also a Board member of SP Jain School of Global Management. He has previously served as the Chairman of Network International Jordan, Board member of Diners / Discover ME, Managing Director of Network International Egypt, and Product Advisory Board member of UnionPay International.

Samer holds a Master’s degree in Leading Innovation and Change from Robert Kennedy College in Switzerland, in partnership with York St. John University, and a degree in Business Management from the Ministry of Higher Education Sinai.
