A highly motivated and entrepreneurial professional with over 25 years’ experience and track record in infrastructure and general investments and project development in emerging markets. Extensive networks and relationships across Africa and a deep understanding of the opportunities and the challenges facing the Continent. Extensive on the ground experience in Africa including the development – from inception to commercial operations - of a fertilizers plant in Algeria (one of the largest in Africa) and the acquisition of the largest power platform in Sub Saharan Africa. My aspiration is to use my experience, relationships and drive to develop, build and grow a business with like-minded financial backers in challenging markets to address market gaps, create significant value to all stakeholders and make a positive contribution to the markets in which I operate.
