So hi there, my name is Ruben. My personal "why" is to create, innovate, and always aim higher, so that people experience a positive difference in their lives. When I hit my twenties, I built one of the first automated investment platforms in my country before scaling it internationally. The idea behind this platform was to open up private banking services to everyone. Prospects no longer needed several hundred thousands of Euros to be eligible to become a client. By vastly reducing the entry barrier of the minimum investment, leveraging automation and investing in low cost stock exchange trackers (ETFs), the average man on the street’s investment portfolio could finally compete with actively managed funds, at a fraction of the cost. A few years later, a leading international financial institution asked me to help them develop and lead a new business unit based on automated investment algorithms. This provided me with the experience of leading teams up to 100 people. Meanwhile, I launched online courses gathering students all over the globe, so that people could learn how to build their own successful investment portfolio.
