About Ronald Oliveira

Ronald Oliveira is the current CEO of Revolut USA, a global Fintech company headquartered in London. He was appointed CEO in November 2019. Oliveira has a financial service career that spans over 30 years. He is a strategically agile Financial Services leader having held every “C” suite position except CFO with community banks, multi-billion dollar organizations, and global Fintech startups.

Previously he was the President and Chief Credit Officer of AvidBank from 2013 to 2018 and was the company’s Executive Vice President Chief Credit Officer from 2012 until 2013. His market experience includes California, the Northwest, Pacific Rim, Guam/Saipan, and the Hawaiian Islands with organizations worth $500MM to $80B.

As CEO of Revolut USA, Oliveira engineered Revolut’s official public entry into the United States with a digital-only platform and helped establish the organization’s foothold in New York and San Francisco. In the past, Oliveira was responsible for numerous capital raises, acquisitions, and building the largest SBA unit in its market, a $1.0B Agribusiness lender, and a mortgage platform spanning the United States. His expertise ranges in all major lines of commercial lending including retail, small businesses, technology, all the way to emerging companies.
