Randy Termeer leads the auto and property insurance lines of business for USAA that includes 8.5 million members, 14.5 million vehicles in force and over 6 million homeowner’s and renter’s policies in force. The USAA P&C Insurance Group continually sets the standard for exceptional service in personal lines insurance. Prior to this role, Randy Termeer served as General Manager of USAA’s Auto line. Under his leadership, He led the acquisition of Noblr, our pay-as-you-drive insurance product. He also launched Small Business Insurance and SafePilot. He served as the executive sponsor of P&C’s modernization program, spanning claims, data, policy administration, agency, and digital infrastructure systems. Randy Termeer joined USAA in 2017 after serving as Chief Operating Officer for Chubb Overseas General Accident and Health, leading Underwriting, Actuarial, Technology and Operations for their 50-country portfolio. Since 2001, He has had the opportunity to work in a variety of Property and Casualty leadership roles, focused on Product Management, Underwriting, Actuarial, and Predictive Analytics. He serves as the Honorary Commander of the Lackland 37 th Training Wing, and sits on the Board of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation, Southeast U.S. Division. Randy Termeer also served on the Board of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, an independent, nonprofit scientific and educational organization dedicated to reducing the losses — deaths, injuries and property damage — from motor vehicle crashes. Randy Termeer earned a Masters in Business Administration from Western Michigan University. He also completed international baccalaureate programs at the University of Edinburgh. Randy Termeer brings more than 20 years of industry experience. Prior to joining USAA, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Chubb's International Accident and Health Division. He also led product management for personal lines for The Hartford. Randy Termeer sits on several industry boards and is an active volunteer in the San Antonio community.
