About Raghunath Subramanian

Raghunath Subramanian  is the Founder and CEO of actyv.ai, an ai powered enterprise SaaS that is pioneering growth in the B2B space. Raghu is an experienced enterprise SaaS business builder. He actively invests in early stage start-ups through his family office and is a board member and advisor of high growth start-ups. Raghunath (Raghu) Subramanian served as Non-Executive Chairman of UiPath India from 2019-2022 and as President and CEO- India and APAC, UiPath, from 2016-2019. He is a founding management member of UiPath and was member of the global executive management team. Raghu joined UiPath and set up operations in India in early 2016, when they were in single-digit millions in valuation and seen through the company listing at $36 B in NYSE. Under his leadership, UiPath has grown in India and the APAC region to over 400 people serving over 200+ marquee clients amongst global in-house centers (shared services), global IT-BPM companies, and Global and Indian conglomerates. Raghu drove the strategic expansion of UiPath's footprint across sales, engineering, alliances, leadership, and corporate development functions globally while directing specific focus on India and Asia. Raghu has over 22 years’ experience in the tech industry, has been a pioneer in Robotic Process Automation & business process management space, and has been instrumental in evolving it into an industry. Previously, Raghu worked for leading global services companies such as Hexaware and EXL Service in various leadership roles such as CTO and VP for Automation & Robotics respectively. These roles entailed creating strategic differentiators in business process management and robotic process automation by identifying and creating frameworks; automation technologies and platforms; setting up CoEs and customer journeys in automation; creating compelling value propositions in automation and showcasing it to customers and analysts, and advancing thought leadership in the area. Raghu is also an active board member and investor in successful companies like BritishVolt, Simple Energy, Tender Cuts, Social Swag amongst others, in his portfolio. ‍
