Before founding Paysense, India's leading digital lending startup, he was the Head of Product for PayPal across the Asia-Pacific region. His experience at PayPal and now at Paysense has provided him with valuable insights into risk, credit, underwriting, and collections, and how these processes can be fundamentally transformed through data and technology. Paysense has revolutionized the way credit is extended in emerging markets, taking traditional paper-based processes and fully digitizing them. The small team at Paysense is making a significant impact, improving the lives of tens of thousands of people each month, with much more growth and success on the horizon. Prashanth is a serial entrepreneur with a track record of building mobile tech companies. Prashanth joined PayPal in 2011 with the successful acquisition of Truvie Security, a mobile payment security startup. Prashanth has spent over 7 years working on various consumer mobile and security solutions resulting in two successful acquisitions. Prashanth Ranganathan holds a bachelors degree from the University of New South Wales in Engineering and a Masters in Bioinformatics from Stanford University.
