I have been the Chairman of the Board at Bloomberg since 2001, in addition to serving as Chief Executive Officer from 2002 to 2011. Alongside my colleagues and with our Management Committee, I devote much of my efforts to the company’s strategic and operating performance to ensure that we meet and exceed our clients’ expectations every day. In order to do that, we strive to stay true to our roots as a technology and information startup. Even as we’ve grown to become the global leader in financial information, news, data and analytics, we know that our success continues to depend on thinking small and providing unrivaled service. As Chairman, I focus on building strong relationships with our clients, regulators, government officials and leadership team. In addition to my core responsibilities as Chairman, I focus on corporate sustainability, leadership development, diversity of our workforce and succession planning.
