Peter Keenan's work experience begins in 1990 at Arthur Andersen & Co., where they worked as a Manager until 1996. Peter then joined Currys plc, starting as the General Manager of DSG Ireland Ltd in 1996 and later becoming the Marketing Director for PC World, Assistant Managing Director for Currys, and finally the Managing Director of Currys from 2005 to 2009. From 2009 to 2012, Keenan worked at HSBC in various roles, including Head of the Branch Network, Head of Customer Propositions and Product for UK Bank HSBC PLC, and Group Head of Customer Propositions. Since 2017, Peter Keenan has been the Founder and CEO of APEXX Global, a payments platform that offers merchants a payments orchestration layer to connect with acquiring banks or payment service providers. The platform also provides routing and optimization technology to help reduce payment acceptance costs for merchants. APEXX Global is backed by venture capital firms Forward Partners, MMC Ventures, and Alliance Ventures. Peter Keenan obtained their Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) degree from Trinity College Dublin, studying from 1986 to 1990. Peter further obtained the ICAEW certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in April 1994.
