Paul Scholten, Seasoned executive in the financial sector, combining business experience in Private and Corporate Banking with a strong IT & Operations background and proven skills to manage complex projects. Hands-on experience managing Corporate and Private Banking businesses, as well as IT, Operations and Finance departments. Implemented complex projects, including IT Migration and organizational restructuring. Has been active in regulated functions as Managing and Non Executive Director in the financial sector in The Netherlands, Luxemburg, France, UK and Germany. International and multi-cultural experience, most recently in Luxemburg, The Netherlands and France and prior to that in Asia. Fluent in Dutch, English and French. For over 30 years, Paul Scholten has been active in the international financial sector at ABN AMRO and KBL, as Managing Director and Chief Operational Executive. Since July 2018, Buckaroo is backed by BlackFin Capital Partners, a French private equity fund. Under the leadership of Paul Scholten, Buckaroo will further expand its strong position as strategic payment partner in the corporate and e-commerce market, both in Belgium and the Netherlands. Paul Scholten holds a LLM degree from the University of Utrecht and an MBA degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
