About Nish Kotecha

Nish Kotecha is a serial entrepreneur specializing in technology, fintech, and social enterprises. As the Co-founder and Chair of Finboot (Cardiff, London, Barcelona), his company provides world-class customers a competitive edge by accelerating their digital transformation, realizing value, and building trust through blockchain. Finboot developed MARCO, an ecosystem that integrates blockchain technologies, connecting multiple ledgers simultaneously. This enables companies to incorporate blockchain within their value and supply chains, enhancing traceability, transparency, and compliance, thus meeting sustainability and ESG requirements while increasing operational efficiency. Previously, Nish Kotecha founded Geosansar, a fintech pioneer in India, created to provide financial inclusion to the 600 million unbanked. Combining technology and traditional models, Geosansar became the primary banking service provider for over 25 million customers. His career began in corporate finance at Lehman Brothers, JP Morgan, and Barclays (BZW). Nish Kotecha balances his commercial activities with a pro-bono portfolio, including roles such as Chairman of the London Chamber of Arbitration & Mediation (LCA) since February 2019, Deputy Chairman of The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) since 2013, and Chair of the Investment Committee (LCCI) since 2016. He's also a High-Level Advisory Board Member of Tech Capital Markets (Brussels) for 2019-2020, and a former Board Member of Accion (Washington) from 2009-2016, and the Financial Inclusion Forum from 2013-2017. Additionally, Nish Kotecha is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of World Traders, a contributor to the Financial Times, and a journalist with previous stints at Business World (India), DNA (India), and Mint (India). He founded, presided over, and chaired TiE UK from 2000-2011 and was a TiE Global Trustee from 1995-2011. He is a keynote speaker on fintech, financial inclusion, and entrepreneurship. He is also, Chief Mentor & Chair of AGAM, a next generation fintech advancing the lives and livelihoods of individuals and SMEs. Nish is a graduate of the London School of Economics.
